Courtesy Call !!!

Mr Gopal Krishan Circle President along with Mr Balbir Singh Kaushal, Circle Secretary met the new Chief PMG Punjab Circle on the evening of 30th October 2013. This was a courtesy call and  Mr Kulbir Singh was welcomed to Punjab Circle on behalf of Association. Chief thanked the Association and desired cooperation from all members for the developement of the Circle. The meeting was coordial, courtesy and gracious. It is fervently hoped that worthy Chief would listen and take care of the problems of our cadre.     

Obituary !!!

Mr. Krishan Kumar's father passed away ........................

It was the sad day for Mr Krishan Kumar, Sub Divisional Inspector (East), Patiala, who lost his father on 28th October 2013. His Father breadth his last at one of the Premier Hospitals at Mohali, where he was recuperating a paralytical attack after nervous break. Association conveys its heartfelt condolences to the breaved family and pray Almighty to bring the soul to peace and shower courage to the famly to bear the loss.

Sr Postmaster CAT Case update !!!

Sr Postmaster CAT Case filed by the Association (Haryana & Punjab Circle) before Hon'ble CAT Bench Chandigarh came up for hearing on 24.10.2013. Due to pre-occupation of our counsel, no proceedings took place and matter has now been posted to 09.12.2013.

Donations !!!

Mr Rajesh Sethi, Inspector Post, CSD, Ludhiana has donated Rs. 1100/- (Gyaran Soo Rupiyee) to the Association on occasion of birth of his baby boy - a small addition to sethi family.  Association congratulates Mr Sethi on this occasion and thanks for generous act.

Punjab Region issued following transfer/posting orders in PS Group B cadre vide Memo No. STB-R/9-14/09-II dated 21.10.2013.

• Mr R.K.Joshi, SPOs Bathinda transfered and posted as Asstt Director II, Punjab Region.
• Mr Baljinder Singh, assigned task of SP (HQ) Jalandhar.
• Mr Makhan Singh, ordered to take complete charge of SPOs Kapurthala.
• Mr Ujagar Singh, Sr Postmaster Jalandhar transferred and posted as SPOs Bathinda and Mr Ravinder Singh, Manager NSPC Jalandhar will look after the current charge of Sr Postmaster Jalandhar without any extra remuneration.

Mr K.K.Setia, ASP Punjab Region has solemnized marriage of his daughter on 12th October 2013. Association showers blessings to the newly wed couple and pray for their bright future.

 

Mr. Satinder Lehri, ASP Gurdaspur has blessed with a baby boy. Association congratulates for the new addition to Lehri family. 

"Phir wahi dil laya hoon"--- Mr Kulbir Singh -- Chief PMG, Punjab Circle joins.

Mr Kulbir Singh, joins as Chief Postmaster General, Punjab Circle Chandigarh on the forenoon of 14th October 2013, afer his transfer from 36garh Circle. A wave of enthusiasm, warmthness erupted in the minds of Circle staff, soon they had a glimpse of Mr Singh. He is the same person, who bade good bye in the year 1999, when he played two successfull stints as DPS (HQ) and DPS (R). While welcoming Mr Kulbir Singh, his wife and son at a welcome party, Circle staff showed their affection by marking huge presence. "Phir wahi Dil laya hoon", remarked Mr Kulbir Singh while acknowledging the wishes and desired to work for the development of the Circle with the cooperation of all the staff. Association also welcomes him with greath warmth and assures him full cooperation. 

Dte issues promotion orders in Postal Service Group B Cadre.

Directorate issues promotion/allotment orders of IP cadre to PS Group B cadre vide memo No. 9-33/2013-SPG dated 10.10.2013. Association congratulates these officers for their newer assignments. From Punjab Circle, following were the luckiest one out of 154.
